  8. BBEdit is available directly from us, as well as a number of well-known
  9. resellers including (but not limited to):

  19. Please note that all pricing and ordering information given here applies
  20. to orders placed directly with us. Should you require information from a
  21. particular reseller, we suggest that you contact them directly.

  28. Product Distribution Format [IMPORTANT]

  30. BBEdit is delivered on CD-ROM with a printed and bound User Manual
  31. included in the package. A floppy disk set is available at nominal cost
  32. for customers who do not have access to a CD-ROM drive.

  34. Please note that BBEdit is not currently available via any on-line
  35. distribution systems. This is due to resource constraints resulting from
  36. network capacity limitations and the distribution package size, as well
  37. as the restriction of current technology as related to transaction
  38. verification.

  42. Upgrade Offer Eligibility

  45. Please check the following list to determine whether you are eligible
  46. for an upgrade price. If not, you must order using the Individual Copy
  47. pricing given below. Also, please note that you should fax or mail in
  48. copies of any items such as purchase receipts which we require for
  49. verification; we *cannot* accept forms which have been scanned and
  50. transmitted via email.

  53. Apple Internet Server Solution Customers:
  54.     If you purchased your Apple Internet Server Solution package on or 
  55.     after 6/01/97, then you are eligible to receive a free upgrade to 
  56.     BBEdit 4.5.
  57.  
  58.     If you obtained your Apple Internet Server Solution prior to
  59.     06/01/97, or if you received the free upgrade to BBEdit 4.0, then
  60.     you are eligible to purchase the version upgrade. For either case,
  61.     please send a copy of your purchase invoice as proof of eligibility.
  62.     Offer limited to one upgrade copy per server.

  65. BBEdit 2.5, 3.0, 3.1, 3.5, and 4.0 Customers:
  66.     If you purchased BBEdit 4.0 on or after 6/01/97, then you are
  67.     eligible to receive a free upgrade to BBEdit 4.5.  Registered
  68.     customers who qualify will receive this upgrade automatically.

  70.     If you bought BBEdit 4.0 prior to 6/01/97, or if you own BBEdit
  71.     2.5, 3.0, 3.1, or 3.5, then you are eligible to purchase the version
  72.     upgrade. Please provide a copy of your purchase receipt, or if you
  73.     are a registered customer, give your invoice number and/or customer
  74.     number. If you have not yet registered, please include your reg
  75.     card, or a copy of your purchase invoice, as proof of eligibility.

  216.         methods from non-U.S. banks. Please also note that we cannot ship 
  217.         or process COD orders, or provide pro-forma invoices; your order
